The Dilemma of the Ring Bearer of my Wedding

I have a dilemma. You see how I was engaged to a wonderful woman about four months ago. And I thought all the wedding planning was going smoothly. Until yesterday Stacy asked me “which of your nephews are you going to ask to be your ring bearer for wedding?”. Well, that question somewhat shocked me. I honestly have not given that a single thought. You see I have two sisters whom a very close to me and each have one son and no other children. Kyle is three years old and a rambunctious little boy while Curtis is four a half and studious and quite sedated. Yes, I have a dilemma for my wedding indeed.

I would love to have both of them as my ring bearers but that would mean buying two wedding rings and two ring bearer gifts. And that is completely out of the question. So I am going to have to make do with one which means one of my sisters might get offended orleft out. Not to mention either Curtis or Kyle will get their feelings hurt. It’s so much easier to pick your groomsmen for my wedding because, theoretically I can have as many as I want. But since I don’t have any friends really I only have two groomsmen. And one is my dad.

As I was discussing this with my wife to be Stacy about other plans about wedding she had a brilliant idea. “Why don’t you have them both carry the ring pillow?” This way nobody gets hurt and we have more tuxedo rentals. Did I marry a great woman over what? I can see both Kyle and Curtis now. Walking down the aisle on my wedding day fighting over who gets a bigger piece of the Ring pillow. But hey, life could be much worse.
